Aosagi Sim Beginners Tournament
Celebrating the Festival of the Full Moon
Tournament is Friday, October 1st. 2010 12:00 Noon SLT
Greetings Samurai:
We wish to announce the formation of the Aosagi Novice Samurai Tournament. Any one that is a Novice or Beginner Samurai may apply. Any clan or any Group, School and Ronin are elegible to compete.
The rules are simple:
1. Wear the supplied clothing and hair and Nothing extra
2. Keep your sheath on the Avatar HUD
3. your SCRIPT COUNT in Region/Estate is UNDER .450, and dont wear the flight feather while sparring. Come prepared so no delays are caused. If a fighter is not under .450 they dont compete.
4.any C:SI weapon is allowed
4a. The tournament will be limited to the 1st 30 contestants.
5.Place your name, Clan/group, Sensei/Sponsor, and amount of spars you have accumulated, State the Class you are in amnd wear the approprate clothing color.
(0 to 1000 spars is CLASS 1) WHITE CLOTHING
(1001 to 2500 spars is CLASS 2) BLUE CLOTHING
on a note titled, “Aosagi Tournament” by Wednesday the 29th of September, by midnight SLT.
6. Please send the note to your Friend , SILVER CSAK and if you are not a bonified C:SI Novice or Beginner, Please do not apply.

As I predicted… the date is September 25 in Asia and it is already snow-filled in Sanada!!! Woo!!!! 
Phoenix has informed us that Mt. Fuji’s top, is already starting to be covered with snow and the weather in Japan is starting to get brrrrrrrrr— colder!!! So what else is there to do? Change the terrain texture into that of snow!… Of course!!!

The green grass is amazing but… I love how the sim looks when it’s all covered with snow. From where I’m at… it’s warm and sunny all year round… well except during monsoon season. And all these snow is just amazing!

Iesada’s Rezz day Party and the Turtle Devastation Wave
Last September 2, Iesada Renfort, Sanada Clan’s Secretary celebrated his birthday at the newly bought club. Woo!!! Music was provided by the uber cool looking DJ… Phoenix!!! Champagnes overflowing and particle fest along with pretty cool music signified the event. We also had some visitors from other clans and of course “official C:SI News Reporter Silver Csak!

HAPPY REZZ DAY IESADA!!!!
My demise is inconsolable… my heart is beyond repair… my partner has left and will never come back! Pardon the drama but writing has always made me feel better so I am writing about it… nope no bloody gory details though Sanada Clan Grandfather Phoenix has told me… “You cheer up”… so yea I’m hanging on in there.
So what the heck does the Kamehameha Wave got to do with it? Oh well, allow me a few days of moping…. and mope I did! Enjoying the sites and sounds of the Sanada SIM while I was feeling sorry for my pathetic self… Phoenix comes along and notices…. well he has always been there offering solace and wise words and most of all a good laugh when people are troubled.
He offered me a TP to this large prim in one of the Sanada SIMS and lo and behold….. an almost SIM wide prim filled with TOYS FOR THE BIG BOYS stuff! And what else do you do with toys???? Of course you play with them!!! ^^
Okay before we got to that part where he did that famous Dragon Ball Z wave, we killed a few annoying floating skeletons, pesky crabs that bit you if you didn’t get to them first, griefed the whole area beyond relief, with bombs, guns, smoke, particles and whathaveyous. Yay! Yay! Yay!!!! ^^ (okay you didn’t hear that “grief” part from me. )
Of course Phoenix saved the best for last…. the infamous Dragon Ball Z Avatar Vegeta!!!! Wooooo!!!!! Complete with Kahemahema animation and particles!!! Wish you were there to see… but hey I took a few photos for you guys. ^^

Renovated Sanada SIM and Long haired Blond Rockers
Wow, haven’t posted in ages!!!! Well, it seems like Phoenix is done with renovating Sanada SIM, and as always it looks awesome!! He has mentioned that the newly renovated SIM would allow better spars for everyone with less lag, so far for me, it has been good. Check out our new sim!

On a lighter note, Phoenix has bought a new club!!! Yes! Again!!! He bought it so we could celebrate everyone’s rezz day party at this spiffin new club!!! He recently tested if he could play music directly from his home PC and ended up banging heads with some of our rocker members!!! Party on!!!

What SL Viewer Do You Use At The Moment?
What is your drug of choice?
Recent issues with the Emerald viewer (arguably the most frequently used viewer) prompted most C:SI people to search for other viewers that will work well with spars, among other SL and C:SI activities. There are a lot out there, like Rainbow, Snowglobe, Kirstens, and the maligned SL Viewer2, but none as seemingly more satisfying than Emerald. Recently, however, viewers like Imprudence and Phoenix (wondering if Phoenix-san has to do with this, あははは(*´д｀*)) were pushed into the limelight.
I personally prefer Kirstens when sparring. Kirstens does not work well with most, but this viewer is able to bring down my ping sim to as much as 250, which matters very much to me (this is the lowest that I can ever obtain). Otherwise, I get an average of 275-300 in other viewers.
Oftentimes, however, I find myself using Emerald (even when sparring) simply because I like Emerald’s multiple smart capabilities. I have tried Imprudence, and results have been inconsistent. Sometimes it works like a dream; other times it is simply blah. I have yet to try Phoenix.
What about you? What is your drug of choice…I mean, viewer of choice? I am sure many would like to know. The implications of your choice as regards your sparring requirements definitely cannot be ignored.
