SANADA Bunbu School 松代文武学校 at Sanada Clan.
This will be a traditional Japanese samurai school for young adults 16-17 years old. The school will reflect the history of Matsushiro Castle at Sanada Clan in Nagano, Japan as it was in 1855, when the then Sanada leader started a martial arts and western military school.

I did a lot of research to discover life for teens in Second Life. They are restricted to PG sims only (now called General). Many friends outside Sanada told me it was a crazy idea. That it would invite drama to the clan. Oh there is no drama now? ^^ Giggle. In fact, 18 year old can come to any M (Moderate) sim. Hmm. I think many 16 year olds are more mature than some adults, yes? I was told that this age group will not be interested in the history of Japan or being serious about learning the CSI katana as if this was a real dojo today in Japan.

However, 16 and 17 year-olds build houses for school projects, are expert in piano, or are famous singers or models, or…well you get the picture. They are cool people and we want them to come have fun with us. Sanada clan has many expert C:SI players that can share a lot of their skill. We have members who can help teach lessons in Japanese, French, Italian and maybe even Portuguese. (Corey is groaning as he reads this ^^).

I envision the start of the path is applicants/candidates that join and spend some time to check out the school and we check them out too to see if they are a good match. This is very common practice for sensei and student. For now, there will be two simple stages of skill: beginner and advanced. Advanced students may also excel and want to be an assistant instructor.
